Fortnite Shop Token chest routes
Start with a source-backed route brief. Test its actual chest count and travel time in your own match.
See the island. Pick a search style.
These markers identify broad search areas, not individual chests or guaranteed rewards. Match the coastline and named locations to your current game map.
Choose by storm position and unlooted terrain. These are search styles, not a ranking of token odds.
Compare the route candidates
The first four briefs below summarize Beebom’s November 3 route guide. Its numerical drop-rate and percentage-improvement claims are unverified and are not used in our recommendations.
01 / The Chest
Reported sequence: eastern cliff → lower ground → giant chest area. The source describes a concentration of buried chests and warns of heavy competition. Prioritize surviving the approach over reaching a claimed chest total.
02 / Windmill Village to Arlong Park
Reported sequence: east of Windmill Village → beach → wrecked ship → Arlong Park. Treat it as a coastal candidate to compare against a congested central drop.
03 / Islands south of Loguetown
The source describes starting at the giant turtle and moving between islands toward the Plunder Port area. Check your mobility options and water-related item restrictions in-game before attempting it.
04 / Northeast coast: follow the landmarks
Use this visual companion to Osky’s route. We sampled the footage and captured the huts and crab landmarks; we have not played or timed this route. Spawn counts are deliberately not promised.
- 01
Find the orange coastal shelters
Begin on the coast north of Fortune’s Fort. Use the orange huts and tents as your first visual checkpoint; search the nearby structures and rocks.
Osky · 2:35 ↗ / Epic Games. Creator footage; not our gameplay. Before moving on: secure equipment and check the storm. If already looted, keep moving.
- 02
Check the small offshore island
Compare the small sandy island in the northeast with your map. Search the buried mounds before returning to the mainland.
Skip this crossing if the storm or nearby players make the return unsafe.
- 03
Return to the coastal building
The walkthrough returns by the whirlpool toward the coastal stairs. Check the building and continue along the shoreline.
Use the video to match the landing. If the route has changed, choose a safe mainland exit.
- 04
Recognize the crab-shaped structure
Follow the desert coast to the wooden crab landmark. Check its ground level and upper platform.
Osky · 6:30 ↗ / Epic Games. This landmark is not a guaranteed token spawn. Leave searched containers behind. Count only chests you actually open.
- 05
Search the boat in the inner bay
The next reference point is the boat structure in the bay. Check its interior and upper level before leaving.
Do not assume all container types have the same reward rules.
- 06
Take the exit toward safety
The creator uses the nearby launch pad toward an inland hut. Finish the route or leave earlier according to your storm circle.
Stop the run, save your count and compare it with your other runs. A higher count never guarantees a token.
Video loads from YouTube only after you choose Play. If YouTube asks you to sign in or cannot play here, use “Watch original on YouTube” or follow the images and written steps. The six-stop sequence also appears in this independent route breakdown ↗. Watch the linked sections to confirm transitions against your match. Preview animation shows the order of steps, not a timed game simulation.
05 / Lantern Landing
Forbes names Lantern Landing as a chest-dense candidate and mentions Cursed Cavern and SS Rocky as possible follow-on stops. It also warns that the area attracts other players. The naming differs from other guides, so verify it against the current map rather than assuming the locations are interchangeable.
Which modes and chests count?
| Question | What our sources support |
|---|---|
| Battle Royale? | Named in the press coverage. Start here and verify the current event rules. |
| Zero Build or Ranked? | Coverage is inconsistent. Some creator and community reports include them; we have not found a complete official eligibility list. |
| Regular, rare or special chests? | GamesRadar describes random rewards from opening chests; Dot Esports calls them Treasure Hunt Chests. Terminology differs. Check the event description and do not assume every container or mode has the same reward table. |
| Respawned or destroyed chests? | Creators make claims about them; eligibility is not independently verified here. Track them separately if testing. |
| Creative or an AFK island? | No verified token-granting Creative map is established by our sources. A map title is not evidence of eligibility. |
Chest terminology: GamesRadar ↗ · Dot Esports ↗. Do not treat an unverified mode as eligible just because it appears in the tracker’s mode labels.
A better way to compare your runs
- Use one route and one mode per test. Note the current game version.
- Start the timer before queueing, and include travel, failed drops and loading.
- Count only the chests you actually open. Do not add an article’s advertised total.
- Repeat several runs, keeping unsuccessful ones. Compare the range, not only your best run.
- If contested, change your landing plan. A dense location you cannot survive may be inefficient for you.
This is a proposed testing method, not an experiment we have completed. No route is ranked as “best” by this site yet.
